One-Ingredient Pasta

Hello Everyone, 

We all have heard and even made pasta in white sauce. Well, the white sauce is either made up of oil and flour or with cream, which makes it thick and creamy.

The variation in this dish is that the Pasta is in the white sauce but with only one main ingredient 'Milk'.
When the milk, water, and pasta boil together, it'll automatically thicken because of the pasta added to it.

One Ingredient Pasta is the hassle - free, oil free & this pasta doesn't need the prior boiling of pasta or, making the white sauce or adding cream to it.
This pasta will get creamier in its own way. 

One-Ingredient Pasta

Pasta in White Sauce with just One Ingredient-WOW!

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 15- 20 Minutes
Total Time: 25 Minutes
Serves: 1

  • 1 ½ cup Milk
  • 1  cup Water
  • 1 cup Penne / Spiral Pasta
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Capsicum
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
  • 3-4 tsp Grated Cheese
  • Pinch of salt

Method :
  • In a pan, add the milk and water. As soon as it comes to boil, add pasta to it.
  • Add capsicum. Stir for 15 minutes or more over medium heat until the pasta is cooked and the sauce gets thicker.
  • Add salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, and cheese. Stir well again.
  • Serve hot .

Note :
  • You can even add sautéed chicken on top of it.
  • If you feel that your pasta is still not cooked then add little bit more milk.
