Saffron Masala Milk

Saffron Masala Milk is a special kind of blend which is mainly made from nuts. It enhances the taste and nutrients of milk. We all know how milk is important for our body and some of us whether being kids or adults, say 'no' to plain milk but by adding this nutty masala to the milk we can develop a habit of it.
With all the dry fruits in it, this makes an excellent drink.You can have it as a hot beverage as well as cold.

This drink is healthy and rich in vitamins and minerals which are required for our body.

When this milk is prepared the aromatic smell makes it so irresistible and tempting and one thing is for sure that after having one glass of it, you’ll feel like having more.

                                                               Saffron Masala Milk

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 20 Minutes
Serves: 2 

  • 8-10 pieces of Almonds
  • 8-10 pieces of Cashews
  • 1 Tbsp Sliced Pistachios
  • ¼ tsp saffron strands / Kesar
  • 2 Green Cardamoms
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 glasses of Milk

Method :
  • Grind to a fine powder of almonds, pistachios, cashews. keep aside.
  • Take a pot add 2 glasses of milk. Add the saffron strands.
  • When the milk is boiled add 3-4 tsp of masala (almonds, pistachios, cashews & cardamom crushed)
  • Now add 2 tsp of sugar and let it boil for about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Stir and serve Saffron Masala Milk hot or chilled.
  • You can make the masala and store it in an airtight container and use it whenever required. The best part is that the masala can even be used in kheer, shrikhand, kulfi, topping for ice-cream etc.
  • You can skip the sugar and can add honey or brown sugar or sugar-free.
